Danbury Literary Review

This project grew out of a desire to connect with and promote the talented authors within our 

Northwest Wisconsin Communities. The Danbury Review is an annual publication started in 2023. 

There is no age limit, anyone may enter. 

The cost is $25 for up to three submissions and includes a printed copy of the book to be sent out in early 2025. 

Submission fees are used to create a prize pool for our authors and to ship author copies. 

Prizes and publication date are contingent on the number of submissions received for the year. 

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place prize amounts will be announced in November once we have collected all entries.  

We reserve the right to increase the prize pool if we receive an excess of submissions. 

All approved submissions will be included in the yearly publication with credit to the author and an author bio.

Regulations: Please keep total word count around 7000 words or less. Fiction, Sci Fi, Fantasy, non-fiction, history & mystery are all welcome. 

We are not taking romance submissions at this time. 

Please avoid topics relating to sexual violence or abuse of minors. 

Accepted submission types include short stories, poems, essays, prose, articles, interviews, academic or historical works.
